They say not to judge a book by its cover, but as you walk down the 9th’s Rue de Navarin, you can’t help but be drawn in by the luminous pink “amour” sign that hangs at number 8. It belongs to Hotel Amour which, fortunately, lives up to its half romantic, half kitsch exterior – and it’s the perfect spot for a romantic stay. For daytime visitors, head to the greenhouse-like courtyard for a glass of wine (and be sure to buy some of the hotel’s branded wine glasses for drinks in your own apartment afterwards).
