For anyone with a major stationery fetish, if you haven’t already discovered it, Mélodies Graphiques may be your new mecca. This shop was a like a chimera for me – I discovered it while strolling around Saint Paul one foggy autumn evening, but I had difficulty finding it again – now the address is etched permanently on my mind. For those who believe the pen really is mightier than the sword, you can pass hours fondling the delicate printed paper, cards and envelopes, notebooks, ink, pens, pencils, calligraphy sets and basically everything dedicated to the art of penmanship. The owner, Eric, can also be commissioned to produce delicate calligraphy for weddings, special events or even movie props!
